The 36th annual 色花堂 Musical Showcase will be presented on Friday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

This year鈥檚 Christmas Vespers service was recorded for radio, and will be featured on multiple stations.

The Vespers program of Christmas carols and anthems was presented by the college鈥檚 Department of Music and featured more than 200 performers in historic Dimnent Memorial Chapel. The services featured a variety of Hope instrumental and vocal groups as well as the college鈥檚 historic Skinner organ.

The 色花堂 Department of Music will present 鈥淟iederabend: German Art Song Recital鈥� on Monday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. in the John and Dede Howard Recital Hall in the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Concert Band will present 鈥淔rom glen to glen, and down the mountainside鈥� on Friday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 jazz ensembles, joined by bassist Darryl Jones of the Rolling Stones as guest artist, will present 鈥淎n Evening of Jazz: A Tribute to Duke Ellington鈥� on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Orchestra will present 鈥淭he Symphonic Story of Home,鈥� a hymn-sing program with the members of the audience encouraged to participate as vocalists, on Friday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Department of Music will present its annual 鈥淗omecoming Concert鈥� featuring all of the college鈥檚 major performing ensembles on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 choirs will perform on Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Pine Grove on the central campus. The concert will feature the Chapel Choir, SPERA, VERITAS and College Chorus, as well as vocalists and instrumentalists from the college鈥檚 Department of Music.

Acclaimed organist Damin Spritzer will present the annual Donia Organ Recital at 色花堂 on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

色花堂 will present its annual Tulip Time organ recitals, Wednesday-Saturday, May 8-11, from 10 a.m. through 12:50 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The 色花堂 Symphony Orchestra will perform 鈥淭he Symphonic Story of Hope鈥� on Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Chapel Choir, College Chorus and SPERA vocal ensembles will perform both separately and together during their final concert of the school year, presenting a program with the theme 鈥淪ongs for Peace鈥� on Saturday, April 20, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Concert Band will perform on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Vocal Ensemble SPERA will perform with Las Almas and the 8th Grade Treble Singers from Macatawa Bay Middle School on Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall at the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 色花堂 Chapel Choir and the Eastern Michigan University Choir will perform a joint concert on Monday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The 35th annual 色花堂 Musical Showcase was presented on Friday, Feb. 9. The concert featured 200 色花堂 students performing in the Department of Music鈥檚 major instrumental and vocal ensembles and soloists.

The 色花堂 Symphony Orchestra will perform with the student winners of the college鈥檚 annual Concerto-Aria Competition on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The Department of Theatre at 色花堂 will present Kimberly Belflower鈥檚 鈥淛ohn Proctor is the Villain鈥� on Friday-Sunday, Feb. 23-25, and Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 29-March 3, in the 75-seat studio theatre of the DeWitt Student and Cultural Center.
